reeview helps businesses collect feedback from their customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers two different groups of people, and the answers are different for each.
You were asked for a star rating, a few tap-to-select answers, something in your own words, and how you heard about the business. All of that is stored and shown to the business you visited.
Your name and phone number are optional. We only store them if you typed them in and ticked the consent box on the last screen. If you skipped that step, we hold no way of identifying you.
We record a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address to detect abuse. It cannot be reversed into an IP address and is not used to identify or track you.
If a review draft was generated for you, the text you wrote was sent to a third-party language model provider to produce it. Your name and phone number are never included in that request. Nothing is ever posted to Google on your behalf — you choose whether to post, and you can edit the text first.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@reeview.in and we will action it. If you gave your number to a specific business, you can also ask them directly.
You can withdraw consent at any time. That stops any future contact and removes your name and number; your anonymous rating and comments remain part of the business's aggregate feedback.
We store your account email, business details, logo, and the feedback your customers leave. You are the data fiduciary for your customers' contact details; we process them on your behalf and only to provide this service.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Feedback is kept for as long as the business holds an account with us, so their year-on-year comparisons stay meaningful. Contact details are deleted on request, immediately. If a business closes its account, we delete its data within 30 days.
